Soundtrack 63 was recently remounted at the New School on October 3rd and 4th. It’s an epic visceral x auditory sweep through flashpoints of the African American experience, culminating with a revisitation of the second Civil Rights Movement in the 20th century.
This work is the brain child of Chenits Pettigrew and Assante Amin, the founders of Soul Science Lab featuring the media art contributions of Electric Breakfast. kamau ware and Kamau Akabueze were there to capture the opening night.
This show deserves a proper month-long run, but in the interim, dig on these selects.
